Why Choose Rydens Sixth Form

RES Sixth Form College? Why choose us?
Average of 11 students per teaching group

Small teaching groups allow you to receive the individual attention and support that is so vital at this level.

Key assessments every half term

Regular assessments ensure both you and your parents or carers are informed about your progress, with targets set to help you achieve your full potential.

Strong dynamic teaching

Students are supported in their learning by staff with high levels of subject expertise and, in many cases, experience in industry and employment in their subject area.

The majority of our students successfully progress to Higher Education

RES Sixth Form College opens doors to Higher Education, including Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.

Recent refurbishment of the sixth form centre and new building plans

Opened in September 2010, our new centre has over 50 new work stations and a sixth form seminar room and the Sixth Form is integral to the new build set to open in 2018. Future students, perhaps younger siblings of the 2016 cohort, may
see the input of the current student body.

College Facts

We are delighted that the majority of our students successfully progress onto Higher Education and we are increasing our range of subjects and courses. Students undertake a wide range of ‘enrichment’ activities that support university personal statements and references. Read our Overview document for more.
